The In-Between Space

The in-between space.

No longer what was, but not yet what’s to be.

A place of unknowns.

Full of questions and uncertainty.

Confusion.

A place we often try to rush through.

Uncomfortable with the not knowing.

Urgently grasping for something to hold onto.

We often seek to anchor to something outside of us here.

But the gift in this in between is the opportunity to cultivate our inner anchor.

A deep, embodied sense of self.

We can also freeze here.

Becoming immobilized.

In this liminal space.

A threshold between and ending and a beginning.

A season of inner winter.

Following the inner death of the illusions of self.

But before the rebirth.

Can you stay here?

Can you meet yourself in this place?

Without going back to what was or prematurely pushing through?

Can you just be here?

In the waiting.

In the not knowing.

In the questions.

Can you let it all linger?

For as long as it needs to, without becoming stuck.

Can you trust?

Yourself and life?

This is a place of growing capacity and new neural pathways.

A pruning of what no longer serves.

Transitions can hold so much richness.

We often put life on hold between the chapters, but if we brought life here instead?

The dance with your soul and the body.

More internal.

Less external.

Holding sacred the transformation that’s happening within.

No longer needing to perform to belong.

No longer self-extracting to be accepted.

You went down and in.

No longer fearing the depths or the darkness.

And owning the light.

Here you are, more than surviving the liminal space.

Trusting the knowing of what’s coming.

And continuing to live your life.

In the in-between space.
